Sony Photographic Awards!

On the train journey home from the D800 training Tony, my boss, called to say I'd need to head back to London the following week as I was in the top six photographers for the retailer competition. That week was a little manic in having to buy a tux, get tickets and find out where I'd be going. The day came and I headed off to Weighbridge to Sony UK where I met the others and we found out the results. I came 3rd place out of thousands and won myself a new Sony SLT Camera and other goodies. After Sony HQ we were taken to London and to our hotel rooms, changed and headed out to the exhibition at Sommerset house and then the awards.

Off to Nikon House, the HQ for Nikon UK, in Kingston. This was to learn about and gets as much hands on use of the new D800 :)

Onto the next wedding and once again it was one of those sunny hot months, haha! This was one of my good friends' weddings that I was shooting! From the venue to the food and not forgetting the bride, everything was amazing! Such a great day and Dave you even got your Snow!!! Thanks for letting me be part of your day guys!

London Calling!

Took a trip up to the BVExpo this month to see what new gear is being released! Kayleigh came along too and enjoyed herself more than I expected! The Madison guys were down with GoPro but the major high light was seeing Dennis from the Nikon Trip and being able to have a play with the New D800 & D4! Beautiful bits of kit! After the Expo we grabbed some food and headed off Banksy Hunting!

Green-ish Day with the D700!

Headed back down to the Brook in Southampton to shoot the Green-ish Day Gig once again. This was the major test for my new D700. Low light, Full Frame and f/2.8! I had Gary and Boggy also shooting along side me as they wanted a go at the live music photography. The camera worked so so well I am very pleased with going Full Frame!

Outlaws On Tour - Project

We spent a few weeks this month teaching the Explorers about photography, studio work, lighting, editing and photoshopping! The aim the guys had was to show them "On The Road Tour" travelling to different world locations! I knocked together the "Route 66".

Time For Climbing!

Its November, theres Holiday to take - We're heading to Wales! A collection of us headed up for a week in the hills and mountains! This week was the best weather I'd ever had in Snowdonia! I actually saw off the top of Snowdon!!!!! We covered a few peaks, some classic climbs, urbexed an old ammo bump and trekked across the old quarries!
