The Discovery Of New Fire Games!

With it being November and Fireworks Night this month it sparked, excuse the pun, us off to discover new toys, tricks and party talents with fire. Most of our weekends this month have consisted of breathing fire, spitting fire and stinking of paraffin! However it has allowed for some awesome photos!

Nikon 1 - Press launch Shanghai

After returning from an awesome trip in South Africa I was asked by the MD if I'd be willing to go on a Nikon Press Launch for 5 days. Straight away I agreed to go on the trip, the only detail that was missed was the fact I'd be heading to China!
This turned out to be the launch of the Nikon 1 System cameras which I received a month or two before their release to go out and see the factory where they're made and also test out both the V&J1 cameras. Everything about this trip was awesome and we were treated like royalty! Certainly is something I will never forget!

Studio Helping Day!

Dave, a good friend of mine, hired a local studio for a fashion/glamour shoot for his project he's working on. I headed down to lend a hand in any way I could and spent most of my time shifting and moving lights for him. Was kind cool not having to worry about "my photos" coming out badly. Looking forward to the next assistant role!

GoPro Sea Kayaking / Mount testing

Spent the day kayaking with Dad and one of his friends, Marine Dave! Was a short paddle from Lee-On-Solent and this gave me the chance to test how good the GoPro's Suction Mount was! Attaching it to the deck with the camera facing me was the easy part. Being able to trust it was the hard bit. So I attached a bungee leash to it just in case. The safety line wasn't required though as it stuck and held with no problems! I do however want to state that if you apply it when the deck is wet the suction mount will detach! Bring on the Wi-Fi BacPac now!

South Africa

I was lucky enough to be invited to join my sister on an awesome ten day trip across the coast of South Africa. The ten days would consist of jamming as much in as possible allowing us to make the most of our trip. Heading down from Cape Town and finishing in Port Elizabeth we managed to tick off seeing the Penguins at Boulders Beach, Elephants at Addo, Storms River Mouth, Cape Town, Robbin Island, Zip Lines over the Rivers, Table Mountain and my personal high light - Shark Diving!!!

Ultimate Frisbee Nationals - 2011

Once again I headed down to support and shoot Team Devon in the National Ultimate Frisbee Championship Tour. Was lovely to have a little sun shine this year compared to lasts. I have learnt that Frisbee players don't like to drop the disc and have a photo taken as it happens - sorry!
